I loved staying in this beautiful old palace where the elegant reception area provided a lovely welcome, and the stunning Basilica San Vitale was just a few steps away, making it easy to soak in the rich history of Ravenna during my weekend strolls.

Choose a larger room if possible, as the standard ones can be quite modest in size.

charming stay but a few minor hiccups

The atmosphere had a charming décor that made us feel relaxed. The breakfast area outside added a lovely touch, enhancing our meal experience.

The ambiance was slightly disturbed by noise from the nearby street during early morning hours.

The location was excellent, with key attractions just a short walk away. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly the receptionist who helped with an early check-in. Unfortunately, there were serious issues with the room size. it turned out to be much smaller than expected, and the bathroom was barely usable due to its size. The parking situation was also problematic, as limited spots were available, making it difficult and stressful.

The rich history envelops you as you step into this good space that used to be an orphanage. Enjoyed the fresh, vibrant breakfast spread filled with local fruits and a true Italian coffee bar that’s a great pick-me-up! Plus, the location makes it easy to stroll around and soak up the beauty of the surrounding area.

My stay in ravenna exceeded expectations! The location was perfect, just a short walk from main attractions and a lovely trattoria nearby. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast had a great selection of fresh pastries and fruits.

I had a lovely two-night stay! The breakfast was superb with fresh fruits, and the free bike rental was a fantastic bonus for exploring. The small double room was cozy despite being smaller than expected.

Finding parking was a hassle with limited spaces available, especially since the hotel doesn’t have a partnership with nearby lots. Additionally, the shower door didn’t seal properly, resulting in a wet bathroom floor after each shower, which might not bother everyone but can be annoying. The room access cards often required multiple attempts before unlocking, adding a slight irritation to the convenience factor.

It was just a fine choice for strolling in Ravenna with all in all brilliant value for money. The breakfast was excellent, a real highlight of our stay. Remember to ask for a quieter room away from the street noise.
